Waves Apartments sits right on Watergate Bay, and honestly, the location is what hits you first. I mean, you’re literally steps from one of Cornwall’s most stunning beaches — the kind of spot where surfers paddle out at dawn and families spread picnics on golden sand. The building itself is modern and unassuming, but that’s actually perfect because nothing should compete with those sweeping coastal views. You know what really impressed me? The free parking on-site, which might sound mundane until you’ve spent twenty minutes circling Newquay looking for a space during peak season.

The South West Coast Path runs right past the property — I’d recommend the walk toward Mawgan Porth, which takes about an hour and shows off some of Cornwall’s most dramatic clifftop scenery. If you’re into surfing, this is one of the most consistent breaks in the area, and there are several surf schools right on the beach. Even if you’re not planning to get in the water, watching the surfers is pretty mesmerizing.

  Nice clean spacious apartment modern and well maintained. Watergate bay is beautiful amazing coastline and really impressive surf break. We came skateboarding, we should have brought the surfboards
