It’s about a ten-minute walk down to the actual cove – which, by the way, is National Trust and absolutely worth the scramble down if the weather’s decent. The hotel’s perfectly positioned for exploring this whole stretch of the Lizard Peninsula, whether you want to drive over to Kynance Cove (do it, trust me) or just potter around Helston for the afternoon. Sure, it’s not cheap, but when you’re paying for a 4-star place with a 9.2 rating right on the Cornwall coast, you’re getting what you pay for.
