The location here is something special, and I mean that. You’re about a ten-minute walk from St Agnes village center, where you’ll find proper Cornish pubs and that famous ice cream shop everyone talks about. But honestly, the real draw is how close you are to the South West Coast Path — I could literally see hikers passing by from my window. Trevaunance Cove is just down the hill, and if you time it right with low tide, you can explore the old mine workings that jut out into the sea. It’s the kind of spot that makes you understand why couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways.

The Room Experience

My room faced the sea, and I spent way too much time just standing at the window watching the light change throughout the day. The accommodations are comfortable without being flashy — think quality linens, a decent-sized bathroom, and thoughtful touches like local information folders that actually contain useful stuff. The decor leans coastal but doesn’t go overboard with the nautical theme, which I appreciated. You know what really impressed me though? The soundproofing.
