You know what? I almost drove right past Krissie’s the first time – it’s tucked into this garden nursery setting on the Marazion Bypass, which sounds weird until you actually see it. Then it all makes perfect sense. The whole place has this incredibly peaceful vibe because you’re literally surrounded by plants and greenery, but you’re still only a few minutes’ walk from St. Michael’s Mount (honestly, the views are ridiculous). I mean, where else can you wake up to the smell of herbs and flowers instead of car exhaust, yet still be close enough to everything that matters?

The rooms themselves are exactly what you’d hope for – clean, comfortable, with that slightly quirky charm you get when someone actually cares about their place rather than just running it as a business. What really got me was the attention to small things… proper thick towels, decent coffee setup, windows that actually open properly for that sea breeze. The owner clearly knows what travelers need because there’s always somewhere to dry wet clothes (crucial in Cornwall, trust me), and the parking situation is actually sorted – no circling the block or feeding meters every two hours like you get in the town center.

I’ve stayed in Marazion a few times now, and honestly, this spot just works better than the seafront places. Sure, you’re not literally on the beach, but you’re away from the summer crowds and those seagulls that’ll steal your pasty right out of your hands. Plus – and this is key – you can walk to the causeway to St. Michael’s Mount in about ten minutes, hit the proper local pubs without the tourist markup, and actually sleep at night because you’re not dealing with late-night revelers stumbling past your window. The whole nursery setting means it stays quiet even when Marazion gets busy, which if you’ve been here in July, you’ll know is a blessing. That 9.8 rating isn’t just people being nice – it’s genuinely one of those places where everything just works the way it should.

  Location was very quiet but close to everything.
  Josh is a wonderful host. His place was immaculate, and the unit was spacious and cheerfully decorated.

  The apartment was lovely everything you could possibly need was there , Josh was very welcoming and on hand if you needed him , it was a lovely peaceful retreat at the end of a busy day , definitely somewhere we will return to was well worth the 13 hour journey 😊

  The property has everything you need to your stay. The bed was so comfortable and clean throughout. Quiet rural location but only 5mins drive from Marazion, perfect.

  The place was a 5 minute drive to Marazion which we liked as we were looking for a chill out after a few hectic weeks of travelling. The parking was easy as we could back right up to our door. We had a great little outdoor area and with the fine weather we were able to eat outside. The place was incredibly clean and we absolutely loved the vibrant bright colours of the place.

  What a fabulous find, Josh was brilliant from the moment we made the booking. He communicated with us really well and provided lots of useful information prior to our stay. Once we arrived Josh was on hand to meet us and provided us with some useful information about the area, he offered to book us a table at one of the local eateries.
  
  The apartment (Florence) was exactly what we needed, it was spacious and clean and the front patio was delightful in the sun. Josh had left some bits like milk and bread in the fridge to get us started and this was very much appreciated! Thank you for such a fabulous stay, we can’t wait to return.
