Hotel Description
You know what surprised me about Kilden Kernow? I went in expecting your typical holiday park caravan – cramped, dated, maybe a bit musty – but this place actually feels like someone put real thought into making it special. It’s parked up at Pentire Coastal Holiday Park, which honestly is one of the better spots along this stretch of North Cornwall coast. The caravan itself is genuinely spacious for six people, and I mean properly spacious, not that “sleeps six if everyone’s very friendly” situation you usually get.
The location is the real winner here though. You’re literally minutes from some of Cornwall’s most stunning coastline – Widemouth Bay is right there when you want proper surfing waves, and the South West Coast Path practically runs past your door. I spent most mornings walking down to the cliffs with a coffee, watching the surfers catching early waves before the crowds hit. What I really appreciated was how quiet Plot 50 actually is within the park – you’re not stuck right next to the main entertainment area (trust me, that matters when kids’ clubs start up at 9am), but you’re still close enough to pop over if you fancy it. The caravan’s got everything sorted – proper shower pressure, decent-sized fridge, and the beds are actually comfortable, which isn’t always a given in holiday lets.
Bude town center is maybe a ten-minute drive, fifteen if you get stuck behind a tractor (which you will, this is Cornwall after all), and there’s something quite nice about having that bit of distance. You get the seaside town buzz when you want it – the Saturday markets, fish and chips on the beach, pints at The Falcon – but you can escape back to your own peaceful spot. I’ll be honest, the 9.2 rating had me skeptical at first, but after staying there I get it. It’s those little touches that add up: extra blankets that don’t smell like storage, a proper coffee machine instead of instant, deck chairs that aren’t falling apart. The park facilities are solid too – clean loos and showers, decent playground if you’ve got kids, and the Wi-Fi actually works when you need to upload those sunset photos. Just don’t expect luxury hotel service levels, because at the end of the day, it’s still a caravan on a holiday park. But honestly? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want – somewhere comfortable and well-sorted where you can just relax and enjoy one of England’s most beautiful coastlines without breaking the bank.

Lovely clean spacious caravan, well equipped and very cozy especially with the lovely electric fire.
Great location and fantastic for dogs. Our dogs loved the onsite play park and there is a lovely walk with stunning views for them too.
Also a 5 minute drive into Kilkhampton if you park at the church and walk to Kilkhampton common there is another fab walk with amazing views especially at sunrise.Anatasia from United Kingdom – 21 February 2025 (8/10)
Had to get the code from the host but that was easy.
Great host and very accomodating. Initially we booked the wrong dates (completely my fault) and after messaging the host the night before, she replied promptly and managed to accomodate us the next day. As this was during half term, I wasnt sure if they could do it for us but she did it. Also the property is very kids/ baby friendly. Overall we were so happy with our stay. Very clean and property seems new-ish.
What could be improved: Single beds arent that comfortable. We had to ask for instructions via message for heating and hot water. Took a while to figure it out as it gave us faulty message but soon after the host replied to my message, we sorted them out.Wizard from United Kingdom – 3 February 2025 (10/10)

Would highly reccommend this property.
What could be improved: Settee was very low and not very comfy, I sat at the dinning table to watch tv when we were in.
