Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places around Cornwall, but this little studio on Dunfarley New Road honestly surprised me. You know how sometimes you book something online and cross your fingers? Well, this actually delivered – and then some. The moment you walk in, there’s this sense that someone really thought about what travelers need, not just what looks good in photos.

What struck me first was how cleverly they’ve used the space. I mean, it’s a studio, so you’re not getting separate rooms, but everything feels intentional rather than cramped. The kitchen area has proper equipment (not those sad little kettles and two plates you usually get), and the bed is positioned so you’re not staring at dirty dishes while trying to relax. There’s this lovely natural light that comes through in the mornings – something about the way the building faces that makes the whole place feel bigger than it actually is. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed, with one of those rainfall showerheads that actually works properly.

Here’s what you really want to know though – Boscastle itself is the real draw. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the harbor, which honestly never gets old. Those dramatic cliffs and the way the river winds down to meet the sea… it’s proper stunning, especially if you catch it during golden hour. The village can get absolutely packed during summer weekends (fair warning), but early mornings or late afternoons, you’ll often have the coastal paths mostly to yourself. There’s decent parking nearby – not always guaranteed in these old Cornish villages – and the hosts actually give you the local intel about when to move your car for street cleaning and where to grab supplies. The Spar’s just up the road, and honestly, the pasties from the local bakery are worth the trip alone. If you’re into hiking, the South West Coast Path is right there, and you can walk to Tintagel if you’re feeling ambitious (though that’s a proper trek, bring snacks). The whole setup just works – you get that authentic village experience without feeling like you’re roughing it, and that 9.7 rating? Yeah, I can see why people keep coming back.

  I do not have adequate or abundant enough words to describe how wonderful it is staying with Georgie in her magical flat. This accommodation is the most homey and comfortable place in which I have ever stayed and I cannot recommend it enough. This was my second time staying here and I feel certain it will not be my last. This flat is spacious, clean, comfortable, and in the best location possible. It's quiet, yet about a two minute walk to the center of town. It has everything you could possibly need and more, and is decorated in such a classy manner. Georgie, the owner of the property, is beyond sweet, helpful, generous, and hospitable. You've got access not only to the inside potion of the flat, but also the patio and garden area that has an overlook of the town of Boscastle. The town itself if phenomenal– lots to do, incredible sights and history and within easy walking (or bus) distance of the coastal path and surrounding areas. I could not speak more highly of this spot and this flat, and I recommend it with every fibre of my being! THANK YOU for another wonderful stay, Georgie!

  The location was amazing with private parking the central location made it easy to go out visiting the areas around.

  It was perfect for a few days get away. The kitchen was very well equipped with appliances and utensils. The lounge/bedroom was cosy and comfortable. The bath is amazing!
  The flat is just a short walk from the harbour/local shops and pub.

  The flat is lovely, leafy, and has great views (with a bit of wind thrown in)! Very comfy and warm inside. The owner was very helpful and the communication was excellent.
  
  What could be improved: If mobility is a concern this may not be the best option for you as there are a few steps to access the property and a couple of steps down into the bathroom, the handrail down the steps outside the flat could be a little longer as it ends onwards or two steps towards the end but I am nitpicking here, it's a lovely property.

  The flat was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The flat has everything you need including an amazing expresso coffee machine. Just bring your clothes 🙂 It's also spacious and warm as I went in winter. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and the host was amazing.
